In this post, my friends Pelin, Ozan, and I reviewed the movie called “The Shawshank Redemption”. Since our teacher gave us a film review assignment, we thought that The Shawshank Redemption would be the perfect film for our assignment. In IMBD top 250 Movies list, The Shawshank Redemption is ranked number 1 all time.
Our task was to review the movie in terms of actors, music, structure, lighting etc. Additionally, we also comment on the things that we liked and did not like. At the end of the review, we gave overall reaction to the movie, whether it is worth watching or not.
We used Google Docs to be able to work and write collaboratively. We took advantage of the share and editor feature of google docs. I use google docs a lot to finish my task when our teachers give assignments to us.
Our group members shared different roles for the writing of the review. We edited and added some words to our friends' sentences. Thanks to the division of labor, we were able to work collaboratively and write our parts without interference. The thing that I liked most that we were able to see our mistakes from the document, and I am impressed by the different opinions of my friends about the movie. For example, Pelin’s opinion about the songs in the movie was different from mine. Her different ideas expanded my thoughts about the film and the soundtracks of the film.
Finally, we shared our document with my friends Emirhan, Emir, and Emir Batu. They commented on our review by being commenter on our document. They shared their opinions whether they would watch the movie or not.
