Hello guys! What an amazing term it has been! We have done so much together, and we have learned so much. We have tried out all kinds of different, interactive, fun and educational activities. From podcasts to infographics, from digital stories to watching films and writing collaboratively... However, our adventure has come to an end unfortunately.
At the start of the semester, I remember having lots of fun debates with my friends about whether English teaching could have anything to do with technology. But this course proved me wrong to the end! At the beginning, I thought that technology could not be used in learning English except for watching English videos. But by the end of the semester, I realised that we can all improve our listening, reading, writing and speaking with technology, either as a group or individually.
From podcasts, we learned how to put together an audio media project together as a group. From digital stories, we learned how to write a script and act it out as a group. And from infographics, we learned how to visualise and graph our thoughts. All of the activities we did were so great! I gained so many skills and awareness that I can use in my current life and in my future life. But my absolute favourite of all the activities we did was the digital story. Being able to write a script, portray the characters and voice those characters at the same time really brought back the spark of creativity in me.
I like group assignments, but I prefer individual ones because I get more freedom of thought when I do them alone. Other than that, I can't think of anything to improve about this great course.
As I said, goodbye my dear followers. For now... I love you all!
