Did I just say "Goodbye"? Forget about it totally! We are together again in this blog, which is great news and very exciting. If you don't remember me, my name is Alperen Küçükyavuz from Marmara University, English Language Teaching Department. Last semester, I used this blog for my Instructional Technologies and Material Design course, which was a lot of fun. This blog became a platform for sharing my insights and ideas. However, in this semester, we will continue with Current Issues in Teaching. The aim of this course is teaching pre-service teachers how to use technology effectively in class. It also teaches them important skills on how to make technology-enhanced lesson plans.
Hopefully, this semester my posts will be mostly about the current issues in the education world and the lesson plans that I will be preparing. These lesson plans will include creating corpus-based teaching materials, instructional videos for flipped classrooms, AR/VR-integrated materials, and AI-enhanced lesson plans. It is my hope that these lesson plans will assist teachers in more effectively integrating technology into their classes.
